Mandoza’s managers have confirmed he was involved in an accident on Sunday morning.

Paramedics rushed to the scene of a crash in Weltevreden Park in western Johannesburg where they found a mini cooper had smashed into palm tree on JG Strijdom Road.

The driver of the car was rushed to a local hospital with minor head injuries and witnesses at the scene claimed the victim was Mandoza himself.

He was only slightly injured and his condition is said to be stable.

His family said they would update the media once they arrived at the hospital.
