Police are investigating whether a gang is targeting farms in Stellenbosch.

Earlier this week, gunmen ransacked a farm in Devonvale just outside Stellenbosch and fled with over R800 000 worth of goods.

Several similar incidents have been reported in the past couple of months.

The police’s Rene Matthee said on Saturday they hope to crack the case open through the public’s assistance.

“The police are still searching for the suspects and are following up all possible leads. Anyone who can assist can contact the Stellenbosch police,” she said.
