Glenn Agliotti will face numerous additional charges on Monday when he goes on trial for mining tycoon Brett Kebble’s 2005 murder.
The prosecution has considerably amended Agliotti’s charge sheet and will now be trying him for the attempted murder of Allan Grey executive Stephen Mildenhall and conspiracy to murder three others.
Kebble was gunned down in Athol in 2005 in a supposed assisted suicide.
A new prosecuting team has taken over the Kebble murder trial and is now bringing several more charges against Agliotti.
This includes conspiracy to murder mining executive and Kebble nemesis Mark Wellesley Woods, aggrieved Aflease CFO Daniel Nortier and Randgold Chief Mark Bristow.
Agliotti will also face a charge for conspiracy to murder and the attempted murder of Mildenhall.
He allegedly colluded with a financially embattled Kebble and others to kill all four men because they were digging deeper into the mining magnate’s dubious economic affairs.
The prosecuting team has been reluctant to release the amended charge sheet and Agliotti’s legal team is not talking either.
