Most brands of razors came with detachable heads or blades that can be replaced.
However, the cost of a pack of blades is often enough to make your eyes water.
“It is a big cost. In stores, like Clicks they don’t even give you the pack of blades, they just give you the card with the picture on of what you want to buy.”

Some consumers have suggested that it feels cheaper to just keep buying a new razor rather than spending so much on blades.
While this might seem like a better option, Knowler did the maths and it is actually cheaper to buy razor blades separately, although sometimes only by R1.
"It pays to check!"
