The class of 2023 achieved a record-high pass rate of 82.9%.

The previous record was 80.1% in 2022.

Lefophana says she is over the moon with her results and has been dedicated to the goal of getting seven distinctions since January.

To achieve these outstanding results, she prioritised her studies and relied on support from her parents and teachers.

“Have a vision for where you want to see yourself in the future and that will keep you motivated in the tough year.”

She adds that the pressure did put a strain on her, but it was worth it to see all her hard work pay off.
