UFC: Drake bets against Dricus du Plessis, loses R13 million

It seems the Drake curse has reached UFC.
The Canadian rapper lost $700 000 (about R13.3 million) over the weekend, after betting that defending champion Sean Strickland would retain his UFC middleweight title.
Stickland lost the title to South Africa’s Dricus du Plessis by the narrowest of margins.

Drake is infamous for ‘cursing’ sporting stars and teams, whether by posting online, wearing teams' jerseys, or placing large losing bets.
His 'victims' in recent years include Serena Williams, the NBA Golden State Warriors team, fighter Connor McGregor, and Ferrari F1 driver Charles Leclerc.
