Grade 1 Cape Town learner run over by car dies
The pupil from Westpoort Primary School in Mitchells Plain was hit by the vehicle on Thursday after reportedly running over the road.

CAPE TOWN - A grade 1 pupil from Westpoort Primary School in Mitchells Plain died after being knocked over by a private scholar transport vehicle.
The incident happened after school on Thursday.
The Western Cape Education Department said the child reportedly ran over the road.
Psychologists have been deployed to the school to assist with counselling.
