Parts of Pringle Bay Village evacuated. Firefighters save homes

Smoke has been enveloping Hangklip, a coastal town in the Western Cape, since Tuesday.
On the same day, residents of Pringle Bay were instructed to evacuate due to an ongoing fire.
Although the evacuation order was rescinded, the fire continued to rage uncontrollably.
The blaze is causing structural damage to homes, particularly in Pringle Bay.
A section of Pringle Bay Village was evacuated on Wednesday night due to the imminent threat to homes.
Fortunately, firefighters successfully preserved three homes.
While the fires in their vicinity have been brought under control, lingering hotspots still pose a risk.
