KZN DA calls on eThekwini Municipality to ensure water available at all schools in metro

DURBAN - The Democratic Alliance (DA) caucus in KwaZulu-Natal called on the eThekwini Metropolitan Municipality to ensure all schools in the city had water.
This came after some schools raised the alarm about ongoing water challenges in the city.

DA councillors in the city said this was disturbing learning and teaching.
“The DA in eThekwini calls on the municipality to ensure that there is uninterrupted water supply at schools around eThekwini,” said caucus leader Thabani Mthethwa.
“We make this call having received information that some schools, especially in the north, have had to close earlier than usual due to there being no water at schools.”
