'I genuinely love coming out here!' - Russell Peters

Kfm Mornings with Darren, Sherlin and Sibs speak to legendary comedian Russell Peters ahead of his show in Cape Town on Sunday (11 February).

"Somebody gonna get hurt real bad." If you know, you know!

After four years, Peters brings his unique brand of humour back to South Africa for a three-city tour around the country.

Cape Town gets to experience him in all his glory on Sunday (11 February) at Grand West's Grand Arena at 6 pm.

Peters has solidified his place in the comedy Hall of Fame with his ability to connect with diverse audiences. From his early days performing in local clubs to becoming a global sensation, Peters has a knack for weaving hilarious tales from his own life.

Peters tells Darren that Durban was the first place where he gained popularity.

"My career with South Africa goes back 23 years."

After 35 years in comedy, Peters says what keeps him going is  "no movie offers" but also just loving what he does.

On performing in Cape Town, Peters says, "I genuinely love this place."

After touching down, his fist stop was... Cubana - no jokes.
