It was another fun Saturday morning on the 10th of February 2024 as we hosted the second quarter-final of the 2024 Dis-Chem Brain of CapeTalk. The winners from the week’s on-air competitions gathered at Somerset Mall to battle it out on stage in front of a live audience with Clarence Ford and John Maytham as their quizmasters.

All the contestants showed their intelligence and wit, but in the end, only two emerged as this week’s brainiest!
Liescke Dyers claimed her spot in the adult finale, while aspiring brain surgeon David Naicker walked away as this week’s Junior Brain.
