Foul smell over Cape Town CBD identified as livestock ship
The vessel arrived on Sunday night and is apparently due to leave the port on Monday night.

CAPE TOWN - It seems the source of a foul smell hanging over the Cape Town CBD and surrounding areas on Monday morning has been identified.
City Mayco member for Water and Sanitation, Zahid Badroodien, has taken to social media to shed some light on the origin of the stench.
He said that Environmental Health had confirmed that the smell was coming from a ship in the harbour, that's carrying cattle.
