Machine Gun Kelly is making a bold statement with his new tattoo, but fans don’t seem impressed.

The 33-year-old artist revealed a large blackout tattoo covering his upper torso and arms.

Taking to Instagram, he says it was done ‘for spiritual purposes only’.

Los Angeles blackwork artist Roxx used 44 needles for the bold body art.

Some fans were quick to critique the rapper in the comments of his Instagram post.

“Stupidest f-king thin I’ve ever seen,” read one comment.

“Kells wanted to be accepted by the rap community so he turned black,” wrote another user.

Others couldn’t help but crack a few jokes at the expense of the rapper.
