DURBAN - At least 9 people have been killed in a bus crash in KwaZulu-Natal on Sunday morning.
According to authorities, the bus overturned on the N3 near Paulpietersburg.
Around 70 others have been injured, and paramedics are on the scene, with some already hospitalised.
On Saturday, the African National Congress (ANC) held its manifesto launch at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. It is believed that the bus commuters were on their way home after attending the event.
“Police and various emergency services are on the scene of a bus accident on the R33 between Vryheid and Paulpietersburg in KwaZulu-Natal,” said police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe.
