China Town lovers, this one's for you!

China Town a gift that keeps on giving: 'Come for 1 item, leave with 6'

Lester Kiewit speaks to Steve Kruger of the China Town Trust.

When thinking of China Town, deals, discounts, and uniquely special products come to mind.

It is a retail space with an aesthetic reminiscent of Chinese street markets.

Sable Square's China Town is a popular location always buzzing with bargains and activities.

Why do people love China Town?

Because it's a one-stop shop with cheaper prices.

"China Town is a cheaper option than general retail stores offering discounted products. It's like a treasure hunt where people come into one shop, come for one item and leave with six. You can buy almost anything you can think of in the China Store centers."
-  Steve Kruger, China Town Trust

Kruger denies that China Town sells knock-off items and avoids paying taxes.

"We make sure that our tenants are fully compliant in terms of tax, and FICA. As far as importing knock-offs, we don't control the products sold but we are strict about selling branded products."
