Electricity crews have been tirelessly repairing power outages caused by a severe storm that hit the Western Cape over the weekend.
Efforts are underway to restore power in various areas including:
- Philippi West
- Mfuleni
- Hazendal
- Lansdowne
- Brackenfell
- Athlone
- Salt River
- Crawford
- Grassy Park

Reenen affirms that the electrical disruptions stem from fallen cables and assures that none of their substations have been impacted.
