The parents of late rapper AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes, have expressed outrage over the upcoming book by acclaimed author Melinda Ferguson.
She confirmed that her book ‘When Love Kills: The Tragic Tale of AKA and Anele Tembe’ would be released later this month.
It tells the tragic love story of the late rapper and former girlfriend, who passed away after falling from the 10th floor of a Cape Town hotel.

Tony and Lynn Forbes will not endorse the book.
The Forbes family says Ferguson approached them for contributions, but they declined.
“…[we] find the intended publication of the book and the timing distasteful and opportunistic.”
