Frans Malherbe plays 'for the people of Cape Town' in Stormers vs Ospreys clash

Lester Kiewit speaks to tighthead prop, Springboks champ and URC Stormers player, Frans Malherbe.

"Each game is very important to get that home play-off spot. It's well documented how important playing for the people of Cape Town are for us."
- Frans Malherbe, Rugby Player - Stormers

The Stormers are set to face off  against Leinster on 27 April.

But here's the kicker... former Springboks coach and Malherbe's coach Jacques Nienaber is now the Leinster's coach which might make an awkward meeting on the field.

But, Malherbe says, he is ready for it.

"We'll see how it goes. I look forward to seeing him and catch-up but their accolades and their performance speak for themselves, they're at the top of the log for good reason so we'll see how it goes."
- Frans Malherbe, Rugby Player - Stormers

Malherbe also commented on how the Springboks and Stormers deal with ever-changing technicalities during games.

"It's very technical. If there's a little change in rugby rules, it impacts you alot but you can't argue against it. The Springboks, we have a mindset where we adapt and find a way to be as effective as possible with new laws coming in - we're not going to moan about."
