• Whackhead is also a comedian... you might know him as a prankster, but Darren is a full-on comedian who performs in theatres for audiences - what a talent!
• Darren wasn't always a Capetonian. He's originally from Durban but moved to Cape Town to live his dream.
• Darren has been in the radio biz for 20 years, bringing joy, laughs and his unique brand of printed hoodies to airwaves and screens near you.
• Simpson's pride and joy are his wife and two kids whom he treasures.
• Darren also goes by the name 'DJ Outlaw'... of course, Sweet Caroline is EXPECTED in his mix.
• Darren LOVES KFC zinger wings, good coffee and a French brekkie.
• Oh, he also enjoys baby food - yes, the kind in the jar - specifically pear-flavoured baby food.
