Lesley-Ann Brandt (our fave Afrikaans-speaking demon from Lucifer) visits the Flash Drive!

If you're a fan of the hit Netflix show 'Lucifer', then you've heard of Lesley-Ann Brandt!

Not only is she our fave demon in the show, but she is also an Afrikaans-ish speaking demon! Yes, on the show, Brandt plays a bada$$ demon from the underworld who speaks demon language,  AKA some gibberish with hints of Afrikaans - best believe South Africans heard this and made Lesley-Ann one of our fave international gals. 

Another great thing about Brandt is that she's from The Mother City (Athlone), which she visited last week.

On her way to Comic Con, Lesley-Ann stopped by The Flash Drive - if you missed it, catch up below.

Brandt chatting about her appearance at Comic-Con, a five-day event that started on 27 April at the CTICC. She also shared how her mom (our hearts melted) is her favourite superhero.

Aunty Charmaine Brandt has 'empathy which she learnt from the streets of Cape Town'.

Brandt, learning from her mother, uses her platform to raise awareness around education for kids from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Brandt also taught Carl some accents, took selfies and left us with three words just for her: DOWN TO EARTH!

Oh, she also left us with some words of wisdom and advice to handle haters and negativity... 

"I appreciate the following I have and that I can talk about things that are important to me but I don't share it all because you have to keep some things for yourself but you can't pay attention to the negative stuff. You're always going to get negative stuff - it's almost as good as the good stuff because when you put value on a lot of those things, it can just trick you, so I don't pay attention to much of it all".
