Sebastian Vettel to demo Ayrton Senna’s McLaren at Imola, 30 years after death

Formula 1 icon Ayrton Senna died at the age of 34 years old after crashing at the San Marino Grand Prix on 1 May 1994.

F1 will pay tribute to the three-time world champion from Brazil on 19 May at Imola when four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel will demo Ayrton Senna's 1993 McLaren at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

Vettel, who has a keen interest in the history of F1, owns Senna's McLaren and Nigel Mansell's 1992 Williams FW14B, which he has displayed on several occasions since his F1 retirement in 2022.
