PICS: Tyla makes her Met Gala debut
It only made sense for her to conquer the Met Gala carpet too!

Tyla traded water for sand when she made her Met Gala carpet debut on Monday night (6 May).
The Grammy winner stunned in a Balmain gown that was literally made for her.
Taking inspiration from the ‘time’ in this year’s theme ‘Garden of Time, her dress was sculpted with sand to fit her body – a nod to the sands of time.
In true Tyla fashion, she made the most of the event, striking her best poses and flashing her signature style, even if she struggled to walk up the stairs.
In fact, she couldn’t walk up the stairs at all on her own so she had to be carried.
Nonetheless, she looked stunning and continues to do Mzansi proud!
