Survivor of George building collapse sends heartfelt thanks to rescuers

The news about the George construction site collapse has been weighing heavy on the hearts of South Africans for the past week.
Finding some good news in times of tragedy, the Good Things Guy (Brent Lindeque) shares the story of one of the survivors, Gabriel Guambe (31).
Guambe was pulled from the rubble after spending 118 hours under the collapsed construction site without any food or water.
While recovering in the hospital with minor injuries, the 32-year-old shared a special message of thanks to the rescue teams that worked to get him out and those still working on the site, one week later.
In an update shared by the Garden Route District JOC George Municipality, Guambe shares his gratitude.
