Have a listen below...

Deacon is said to bring forth a new era in his musical journey with this song.

The track is described as a psychedelic anthem of defiance and a call to embrace authenticity in a sea of superficiality.

The lyrics are somewhat literal in sections and then some is left up to interpretation, says Deacon.

He adds that it's somewhat of a "stick it to the man" track.

"I feel like there are too many people out there who work all day and all night, they give every hour of their being, every hour of their life to working for other people, and at the end of the day you look back at your life and you say what did I actually do for me. This song is kind of like a rebellion against that and against following the trends that people have set up that make you fall into the rat race and never get your head up."

"If you think this song is bout you, it probably is."
- James Deacon, Musician

The song is available on all major streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, Deacon has also started his own company that ushers in new talent, giving them full-scale production, and educating them about music marketing and how to get into the South African music industry.

"I have just gone full tilt into the music industry. I have started a company, recording other younger artists - getting people out there. Sort of teaching people what I've kind of learned through my couple of years in the industry....When I was starting out, that's something I really wished was out there."
