Person dies after being sucked into plane jet engine

One person has died after being sucked in the jet engine of a KLM passenger plane at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport.

Passengers and crew were already on board when the incident happened. 

“It happened as the flight was getting ready to fly to Demark. The plane hadn’t taxied out to the runway yet but the engines were going.”

Dutch police say it is too early to determine if it was an accident or a suicide.  

The airline confirmed the accident and is investigating.
