Police probing murder of sisters aged 4 and 7 in Soshanguve

JOHANNESBURG - The Gauteng Department of Education has conveyed its condolences to the family of a seven-year-old Lesedi Primary School learner in Soshanguve – north of Pretoria. 

The little girl and her four-year-old sister were shot and killed in their family home on Sunday. 

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the murders. 

“The district officials and Childline have already visited the school and family. Our officials will continue to interact with the family and ensure they receive the necessary support,” said Gauteng Department of Education spokesperson Steve Mabona.
