JOHANNESBURG - African National Congress (ANC) President Cyril Ramaphosa is on Thursday expected to announce the party’s decision on a coalition arrangement to govern the country.
The party’s national executive committee (NEC) is currently meeting at the Birchwood Hotel in Ekurhuleni to consider its options.

Speaking on the sidelines of its NEC meeting, ANC secretary general Fikile Mbalula said he’s confident a decision would soon be made.
“The closing address of the president will be open to the media, wherein you will now get it from the horse's mouth as to what has been decided by the national executive committee.
“This process, like we said, requires transparency and at the same time to tell you what, as the ANC, we seek to do for South Africa post-elections.”
The ANC is holding a special National Executive committee to map a way forward after filing to retain its parliamentary majority.
