Michael Mosley (67), a British medical journalist, BBC presenter, and television doctor was found dead on a Greek island where he was vacationing with his wife.

Mosley, also a columnist for the Daily Mail, made several documentaries about diet and exercise, including the Channel 4 show 'Michael Mosley: Who Made Britain Fat?'. He was also part of the BBC series 'Trust Me, I’m a Doctor' and is most famously known for the '5:2 diet' and the 800-calorie anti-diabetic diet.

He went missing while on a walking tour on holiday in Symi where he got lost and collapsed to his death after walking for hours in 40 degree heat and rough terrain.

Mosley's body was found four days after he wandered off about 20 meters from a beach and a café full of people.

"He was fit as a flea... whether he had a weak heart or not, we don't know, but in 40-degree heat, it was just too much."
