Cyril Ramaphosa appoints Mandisa Maya as Chief Justice: 'She’s smashing a glass ceiling'
The Chief Justice of South Africa is the most senior judge of the Constitutional Court and head of the judiciary of South Africa.

Justice Maya previously served as the Deputy Chief Justice and the leader of the Supreme Court of Appeal.
She will be South Africa's first female Chief Justice.
