Scott’s journey to creating Inverroche Gin started in the serene landscapes of Stilbaai.

Her path was fascinating as she was inspired to create the luxury gin after serving as the Deputy Mayor of the Hessequa municipality in Stilbaai.

During this time, she developed a passion for sustainable development and a desire to transform the local community.

She embarked on a mission to bring the history of Stilbaai into a global brand and found a way to infuse the indigenous fynbos botanicals into Inverroche Gin.

“I had to go into politics before I was forced to embrace something that was going to be much more satisfying.”

Creating the gin is an intricate process that takes more than a year.

Everything is done by hand, including writing the labels on the bottles and harvesting the fynbos.

Scott says they are committed to sustainability and will be carbon neutral by 2025.

“The basis of our business model was to create something that has never been done before, and the way that we make it means it cannot be emulated.”
