She recently handed over the Miss South Africa title to Mia Le Roux after a year of wearing the Mowana crown.

But, Natasha Joubert says her road to the top wasn't an easy one.

She admits mental health struggles threatened to get in the way of her dreams, and says finally going to therapy was one of the best things she's ever done.

What's next for Natasha?

"I don't know why but it's a triggering question, because you have all these plans in your head, that you hope that the right opportunities will find you."

"I did feel ashamed having to go to a psychologist. Knowing what I know now, I'm like, listen, best thing ever."
