"If you are looking for a new thriller in the sort of vein of 'Jack Reacher' or kind of a very slowed down version of 'Taken' but that kind of justice-delivered feeling, then you will enjoy this one."
- Gayle Edmunds, TV and movie reviewer
Political crime thriller, Rebel Ridge is about a former marine confronted with corruption in a small town.
"When Terry Richmond cycles into a small town on a mission of mercy, he has no idea what he’s getting himself into. The ex-Marine is there to bail out his cousin, who’s currently under arrest. But before he can even reach the courthouse, Terry is hurled off his bike and into the centre of a vast conspiracy that implicates every level of the town of Shelby Springs — and it’ll take all of his skills to get out."
The movie, available on Netflix, stars Aaron Pierre (Old, The Underground Railroad) as Terry Richmond, Don Johnson (Knives Out, Miami Vice) as Chief Sandy Burnne and AnnaSophia Robb (Soul Surfer, The Act) as Summer McBride.
