WATCH: Woman runs over Porsche owner selling his car online after posing as a buyer

A video showing an 18-year-old woman posing as a buyer to allegedly 'steal' a Porsche is going viral.

The vehicle owner from Toronto, Canada was selling his 2022 Porsche Cayenne via an online advert on Mississauga AutoTrader.

Peel Regional Police say that at approximately 2pm on 6 September, the suspect, described as 'a five-foot-five South Asian woman,' arrived at the victim’s residence near Winston Churchill and Eglinton Avenue, ringing the doorbell.

Footage obtained from the victim's doorbell camera shows the suspect saying: “Hello, I’m here for the Porsche”.

The suspect tells the victim she is waiting for her father and is interested in “taking a look” at the vehicle.

The video then cuts to the driveway, where the victim closes the driver's side door after helping the suspect into the driver's seat.

As the victim walks around to the passenger side, the suspect turns on the ignition and moves slightly while locking the doors.

That’s when the suspect floors it and reverses the vehicle onto the street.

The victim is carried along with the vehicle and appears to be run over by one of the back wheels but hops up almost immediately, appearing to be unharmed.

The suspect drove away in the stolen vehicle, police said, noting that an accomplice vehicle, described as a grey SUV, was also involved in the theft.

The owner of the vehicle sustained injuries to his elbow, hands and legs and continues to seek medical attention while the suspect has been arrested, say reports.
