The spirit within the Stellenbosch FC camp is at an all-time high as they gear up for their first MTN8 Cup final against Orlando Pirates, after progressing to the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Coach Barker highlights that their fan base is growing with each match, and community support is becoming increasingly robust.

However, he emphasises the need to rally around 34,000 to 35,000 students to truly elevate the team’s presence.

Their ambition is clear: to become the fourth-best supported team in the country.

This Saturday, Stellenbosch FC will face off against Orlando Pirates.

Despite their recent successes, Coach Barker emphasises the importance of staying humble, regardless of the opponent.

He insists that the team is committed to giving their all in hopes of lifting the trophy.
