JOHANNESBURG - The High Court in Gauteng will take centre stage at the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) interviews on Thursday, where six vacancies need to be filled.
The commission is on a marathon to fill vacancies in superior courts over a two-week period.
Ten candidates hoping to be appointed to the Gauteng division of the High Court will field tough questions at the JSC interviews on Thursday.
The province has been referenced by some candidates who have served in other divisions as a standard for advanced technology required in courts across the land.
But it also accounts for much of the backlog of cases to be completed in the country.
While the majority of the candidates are advocates who have not appeared before the commission, Judge Graham Moshoana, who has been appointed to the Labour Court, will also take his place in the hot seat.
