The Proteas Women have advanced to the semi-finals of the ICC T20 World Cup for the third consecutive time.

In the last Group B match in Dubai on Tuesday (15 October), the result went South Africa’s way, as the West Indies thumped England convincingly enough to allow the Proteas to secure a spot in the playoffs in the UAE.

The Proteas Women stand in line for a rematch of last year’s ICC T20 World Cup final with world champions Australia on Thursday (17 October).

The West Indies will meet New Zealand in the other semifinal on Friday (18 October).

The final of the tournament will be contested in Dubai on Sunday (20 October).

Last year, the South African women's team lost against Australia in the trophy contest in Cape Town - hopefully this year they bring home a win, say fans.
