With one year of solid planning, this year, the Sanlam Cape Town Marathon has reached a record-breaking sellout of 21 000 participants.

The Sanlam Cape Town Marathon is currently undergoing evaluation as a candidate to join the prestigious Abbott World Marathon Majors series.

One of the top criteria is ensuring that no vehicles are parked along the entire race route.
