The City of Johannesburg is calling on residents to put forward their ideas to improve municipal service delivery.
Good ideas will be rewarded through the Smart City Community Innovation Challenge and Awards 2024.

The challenge is open to individuals, teams, and local organisations across Johannesburg.
Winners will get their share of R1.1million in funding for pilot projects to address everyday issues.

The challenge runs from October 7 to November 29, 2024.

The prizes will be split as follows:
First Prize: One winner receives a pilot project valued at R300,000
Second Prize: Two winners each receive projects worth R200,000
Third Prize: Four winners each receive projects valued at R100,000
