LUSIKISIKI - The three men linked to the Lusikisiki massacre have abandoned their bail application.
The trio appeared in the Lusikisiki Magistrates Court on Friday.
They were officially charged with the murders of the 18 victims shot and killed execution-style in Ngobozana village in the Eastern Cape.

"They have abandoned bail. The matter has been postponed now to the 26th November where they’ll be in the dock alongside Mr [Siphosoxolo] Myekethe, who was the first one to be arrested," said the National Prosecuting Authority's regional spokesperson, Luxolo Tyali.
Meanwhile, the three accused are all ex-convicts.
They each told the court about their previous convictions, ranging from murder, attempted murder, and possession of drugs.
"In court, they did indicate that all of them have previous brushes with that law, with two of them having previous convictions while another one having absconded while out on bail on another matter," said Tyali.
Tyali also shed light on the arrest of a fourth suspect in the case.
"We can actually reveal that yes the 4th suspect was brought to us, but he could not be linked to this mass shooting but linked to the matter in Flagstaff that involves that murder of five people," he said.
