All aboard! Africa’s biggest boat show, Boatica Cape Town, comes to the Waterfront this weekend

Africa’s biggest boating exhibition, Boatica Cape Town, is back at the V&A Waterfront from Friday, 25 October to Sunday, 27 October.

Boatica Cape Town is back and will feature globally sought-after South African-made boats, the latest boating gear, water sports equipment, and cutting-edge marine technology.

The 2024 edition will feature more than 70 exhibitors and over 50 boats will be on display.

There will also be a range of activities including live demonstrations of various vessels, boat racing, product launches, and talks on the maritime industry and work opportunities.

Visitors can even take part in stand-up paddle boarding and sailing lessons from the South African Sailing Academy.

Tickets start at R160 for adults and R50 for children under 12.

The City of Cape Town is hosting a booth with their industry partner, Blue Cape.

Blue Cape is an NPO and the organisation behind the South African Sailing Academy, The Little Optimist Trust; the Shark Spotters NPO; and bag-maker Maykamark.
