Social media is buzzing following the news of Siya and Rachel Kolisi’s divorce. 

Rachel announced on Tuesday evening (22 October) that they decided to end their marriage. 

Many South Africans are in a state of shock.

“It’s a horrible thing to go through. If anybody’s been through a divorce they’ll know, but to now have it public like this, it is extremely difficult.”

“It’s a sad story. It’s sad when any marriage ends… I’ve been particularly annoyed with those who have seen fit to celebrate or to say things that are unkind or unsympathetic. Wait until it happens to you!"
