Moscow Telegram channels report that the sewage system in the Russian capital has broken down.

The result?

A 'fountain' of poop/dirt is spewing up into the sky close to residential buildings and others under construction, in the Novaya Moskva district.

According to Russia's state-owned conglomerate Gazprom, a new section of the gas pipeline is being cleaned out of the air in this way.

Representatives of the corporation reportedly said the situation is under control.

While more details around this are scarce, footage from the scene has made it's way online.
