Cooking can be a breeze, not a chore!
Whether you're just starting out in the kitchen or you're a culinary whiz, Chef Herman Lensing is here to sprinkle some joy into your cooking and whip up delicious meals that are bursting with flavour – all thanks to the trusty air fryer.
In his latest cookbook, Air Fryer: Herman’s Top 100 Recipes, Lensing shares his favourite 100 air fryer recipes that will take your taste buds on a delightful journey.
You'll find everything from mouthwatering breakfasts and irresistible side dishes to succulent main courses and fancy desserts, each showcasing his creative flair and culinary expertise.
Lensing's recipes are designed to deliver maximum flavour with minimal effort, proving that delicious meals don’t have to be complicated.
Like many others, Lensing was initially skeptical about the air fryer craze, but it quickly became his go-to kitchen gadget, especially during those busy days.
He says that he enjoys mixing it up, switching between the air fryer and traditional cooking methods to explore a variety of flavour profiles.
"It's a magical thing I was skeptical about, and it changed my life."

The best thing about air fryers is the variety they offer in both price and features, including size and smart settings.
But for Herman, being a "basic Afrikaans guy," he believes that even the simplest air fryer can do the trick – and that’s exactly what he used while compiling his cookbook.
When choosing an air fryer, Herman emphasises the importance of basket size; he prefers a larger air fryer with fewer fancy features over a smaller, more complicated one.
While many of his favourite recipes came about through delightful happy accidents, he does offer a word of caution: if you're planning to make a soufflé, the air fryer might not be the best choice!
