Throughout the school holidays, young visitors will be treated to a free kids’ activity book, packed with fun puzzles and games to keep them entertained while families enjoy the scenic wonders of Table Mountain.
Holiday entertainment with HiltonFrom 14 December to 3 January, visitors will be delighted by the engaging presence of Hilton Carlse, our holiday entertainer and MC extraordinaire.
Whether he’s welcoming guests, sharing mountain trivia, or spreading festive cheer, Hilton is sure to make your visit truly special.
Face-painting fun
From 23 December to 3 January, our young visitors can enjoy creative face painting by talented artists. Get into the holiday spirit with glittery designs or fun festive looks.
Treat yourself at our restaurants
Indulge in exclusive holiday promotions at TEN67 Eatery, VIEWS by De Grendel and TAP Bar while soaking up the incredible views.

Peak season operating hours
Our peak season operating hours from 1 December to 15 January are designed to help you make the most of your visit.
The first cable car departs at 8.00 am, with the last ride up at 8.00 pm and the final trip down at 9.00 pm.
These extended hours mean you’ll have plenty of time to catch the breathtaking Cape Town sunset that everyone raves about.
Free guided walks and audio tours
Explore the mountain’s rich history and natural beauty with free guided walks and audio tours.
These experiences are ideal for nature lovers and curious adventurers alike. Free guided walks are offered from 9 am – 3 pm, on the hour and depart from the Twelve Apostles Terrace, weather permitting. Download the VoiceMap app to enjoy two FREE audio tours:

Park and Ride
With ongoing roadworks along Tafelberg Road and limited parking, we suggest that visitors make use of e-hailing services or make use of our complimentary park-and-ride shuttle services that regularly depart the parking lot at the bottom of Tafelberg Road.
TMACC will be open on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, weather permitting.
