MK Party Secretary General, Floyd Shivambu, announced on Wednesday that an invitation has been extended to the red berets to join the event.

However, given the EFF's characterisation of the MK Party as an enemy, Secretary-General Marshall Dlamini confirmed the party will not be attending.

"The well wishes we have got them from different political parties. UDM, ATM and everyone else. I don't have a letter from MK. They put it on the media, and we are not going to the rally for MK.
