Thousands of EFF members gear up for third elective conference

JOHANNESBURG - Thousands of Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) members are making their way to Johannesburg for the party's elective conference.

The red berets are holding their third National People's Assembly, set to take place at Nasrec this weekend.

The conference will elect new leaders, table political and organisational reports, and re-look some of its policies.

Some 2,500  EFF members from branches across the country will begin registering for the party's elective conference at the University of Johannesburg's Soweto campus.

They will start their day early at Nasrec on Friday where they will review the work done by the party's leaders since its 2019 conference.

They will also adopt a new five-year programme of action for the EFF and conduct an analysis of its electoral challenges.
