British film producer and socialite Jemima Goldsmith, the ex-wife of former Pakistani prime minister Imran Kahn, has detailed her mountaineering travails experienced in Cape Town, on social media.
Goldsmith was hiking on Lion’s Head during her New Year’s holiday where she injured herself when she fell.
She shared images of the scenic hike followed by shots of her in a local hospital where she was treated after her painful tumble.
The public figure managed a smile, describing the experience as "Festive break (pun intended) in Cape Town".
Goldsmith divorced Imran Khan, also famous as a former top all-round cricketer, in 2004 after nine years of marriage.
The pair share two sons.
The former Pakistani leader has been in jail for over a year, after he was arrested on charges of corruption.
His incarceration has been marked by violent protests as opposition supporters try to reach the centre of the capital, Islamabad.
