"Sexual trends are things that just seem to be happening more in today's culture, as we're becoming more open and trying other things."

Sexual trends, like face-sitting or tantric sex, are a great way to deepen your connection with your partner, while having some fun and exploring new experiences together.

Face-sitting is a highly intimate sex act where, as the name suggests, one partner 'sits' on the other’s face to receive oral sex.

Welsh describes face-sitting as a "playful, power dynamic shift", that will bring a thrilling sense of excitement.

"It actually can be a really comfortable position for the giver."

Tantric sex, on the other hand, has ancient roots and is a meditative form of intimacy that emphasises mindfulness.

Welsh explains that its goal is to be fully present in the moment, creating a sensual and fulfilling experience while fostering a deep, holistic connection with your partner.

Most tantric techniques focus on physical elements like deep breathing, breath control, touch and massage, mutual eye contact, and synchronised movement.

Welsh describes it as a transformative way to experience sexual connection, unlocking deeper emotional layers and allowing you to truly become one with your partner.

"Very different from the kind of fast, transactional sex that a lot of us are engaging in today."
