New Zealand’s recent campaign aimed at attracting tourists, particularly from Australia, is getting mixed reviews.   

Politicians say the ‘Everyone must go!’ tagline sounds like a joke. 

Almost 1% of the entire population of New Zealand formally emigrated to Australia in the year ending March 2024.

“Critics say it sounds like a clearance sale. Hurry now, buy one New Zealander, get another one free… Or is it a deportation order? Does everyone have to get out?”
