Durban families whose loved ones' graves were damaged by floods plead for help with reburying them
The heavy rains left some graves completely washed out but most families say they only found out about the issue on social media platforms.

DURBAN - The Durban families whose loved ones’ graves were swept away by floods are pleading for urgent help to rebury their loved ones.
This comes after the cemetery was once again hit by flooding on Sunday.
The heavy rains left some graves completely washed out but most families say they only found out about the issue on social media platforms.

Mlondi Jingela said he wanted to move his mother.
"So my wish is to relocate my mom’s grave to where I believe that she will be safe, so I need you to put my request into consideration."
Jingela also blamed the cemetery officials for negligence.
He said that some graves were left damaged a week ago but families were not informed.
"Today you say you want the graves to be covered, and this thing didn’t happen yesterday; it happened last week. It means someone is not doing their job correctly."
